Zoey is one

After a long delay for posting due to house renovation and moving, we celebrated Zoey's first birthday September 12th at the new house. She got a lovely chocolate cake and a wonderful flower hat from her grandparents. Wearing some new clothes from her grand aunt, Hilda, she looks happy to be the center of attention.

It has been a long time since my last post. Life sure is busy with a baby plus work.
Here is a recent photo of Zoey on the high chair. She has a very beautiful smile.

Zoey eight months old

Time sure flies by... Zoey was eight months old on May 12th..

Sakura Day at High Park

So the sakura are in full bloom the past weekend. We take Zoey to visit High Park, where there are lots of sakura trees. As predicted, there are a lot of people as well. Zoey seems to have a good time playing with the flower petals. It is a gorgeous day out especially after a long cold winter here in Toronto.

7 Months old update

It has been a while since my last post. Life starts to get extremely busy as I go back to work. Zoey is growing fast everyday. We just celebrate her 7 months milestone two days ago. In the following picture, she is wearing a gift from my brother and my sister-in-law. She looks so cute in it. ^_^

6 MONTHS!!!

 Zoey was 6 months yesterday and we got her a little pink booster chair. She was able to sit on it to enjoy (hopefully) some nice homemade meal (pureed sweet potatoes). She was wearing one of the hat ... I think it is too small for her.. Doesn't she look like a little judge??

Beach View of Kenting

It takes me a while to update my trip to Kenting, Taiwan.  The photos were taken from the hotel with Zoey on a baby carrier. We were sitting on the bench while some high school students were enjoying their graduation trip on the beach. With tons of laughter and applauds from the nearby beach, Zoey woke up with a confused look.

Returning Home

It has been a long time since my last post.

Zoey and us have been enjoying a month long vocation to Taiwan. We had a lot of fun in different cities and bathing in the sun. It is also great to let Zoey finally meet her grandparents in Taiwan for the first time.

The weather has been wonderful and summer like throughout the trip. The last couple days we have been visiting Kenting National Park, http://www.ktnp.gov.tw/, where we stayed at a five star hotel chateau beach resort, http://www.ktchateau.com.tw/, with great facilities.

The outdoor swimming pool is amazing as it can overlook the pacific ocean. We had a wonderful time there for three days before heading back to Toronto.

Socks Oh Socks/Kenzo Noodles

Another lady who lives in Apt 905 gave us a lot of baby socks and hats. Here is a shot of the socks that are being dried. I don't think we will need to buy any socks anymore. (Jan 7th, 2013)

We took Zoey to Kenzo Noodle last week. She is all wrapped up as the temperature starts to drop below Zero now in Toronto.
