Today is the last day before Daddy go on parental leave from work. We shared some playtime with Zoey last night and tried out some new outfits on her. She looks so cute no matter what.

Just arriving home from a car ride to grocery store

Zoey has just arrived home from grocery shopping. She was curious about the camera on the phone and start to wonder what mommy was doing. The camera made clicking sound and startled her a little bit.

There was a fire alarm testing in the building so we went to Ling's place. So graceful for her generosity. This was taken at Ling's place by Ling. Thank you Ling.

Beach Visit

Last Tuesday, we went by the beach. The weather was cold so Zoey stayed in the stroller most the time. The air was fresh and minty near the lake. It was nearly empty along the boardwalk.

Christmas Outfit Already?? Reindeer Suit

The outfit is a gift from friend and she looks super cute in there. This happens to be on the same day of Santa Claus Parade in Toronto. We dressed her to go to Loblaw for grocery shopping actually.

Note: The outfit is for three months old baby... She almost outgrow it already..

Two months check-up

Zoey went for her two month check-up and she was 12lb 14 ounces, 24 inches tall and had a head circumference of 16 inches. Compared to the WHO growth chart, she is at roughly 70 to 90 percentile. Great job!! Zoey.

One Month Today!!

Zoey was born on September 12, 2012 around 9 pm at Mount Sinai Hospital. It was a difficult birth with some complications for Mama. I haven't have time nor energy to update the blog until now. Luckily, things are moving along well and she is growing and smiling. Today is one month after her birth. I love her so much ^_^

The day before DUE DAY!!

So finally the due day is tomorrow. However, Zoey seems to be resting comfortably so far. Ah... Got an idea to make some spring rolls. Here are some shots. Some are with vegetable fillings while the others are with red bean paste fillings. It took about 4 hours to make.. Started around 8:30 am and ended around 12:00 noon.

37 weeks check-up

Yesterday was my 37 weeks visit to the hospital. The journey was lovely as I took my time to walk through the philosopher's path near the Royal Ontario Museum. (A couple pictures attached)

The doctor measured Zoey's heartbeat and length. She is doing very well. I can not wait to meet her soon.

Baby facial expressions during ultrasound 34/35 weeks

Yesterday we went in for another ultrasound at 34/35 weeks. It is the first time we got a clear shot of her face. She got hiccups while taking the ultrasound and had really cute facial expressions. Hubby got a chance to shoot a video and he did a great job.

Olympics Opening

Today is the opening of summer Olympics in London. Grab the image icon from Google for this event. Zoey has been moving a lot. Guess we are both excited to see the event. ^_^

Finding a doctor for Zoey

Today we found a pediatrician for our baby girl. We are so lucky to find one near our place and it is conveniently located near a major subway station. One couple who dropped in today was not so lucky as the clinic was so packed today, and they were turned away. Hubby called ahead and booked an appointment ahead of time. 

On our way to the first prenatal class, we came across this piano set up for the pan-am game. It is located in front of the conservatory of music on Bloor street. We stop by and play a little before rushing on to Mount Sinai for our class.
